Control

Follow these steps to create a control on A nice sunny day with minimal clouds. Enter a value in the field that is in the range specified by the box any value will work but every time you do this they should be the same.
Click execute diagnostic test.
Wait for it to finish then you can view the results the number ranges are displayed also on the result page. Look at your numbers write these down or do a screenshot using alt print screen or print screen. Then save in paint, word.

Find Current Wether

When you think a storm may be coming you can do this again just like the control (make sure the numbers are the same for accuracy.)
You may take a screenshot if you like however the only one that is necessary is the control so you can see how the numbers have changed. usually the lower the number is the worse the result. Whether clouds, precipitation etc can affect this. Even snow sitting on the satellite will have an affect.

Finish

You now know what the whether conditions may be like in a while. you can also use it to predict if you will lose satellite services. there are a few problems though it will only indicate stuff that is in the direction the dish points. you can see stuff for quite a ways then it will go out of the atmosphere and to the satilite in space over the equtor (there are 3 of these satilites that orbit in a geosynchronis orbit around the equator.
It works by sending a signal from your dish to the Hughsnet satellite in space then back. These measurements are based on received info from this. Anything in the path clouds, rain, snow, trees in some spots affect results.
