as I've used aluminium foil salvaged from sweets it's not technically paper but it's as close a match as I could find.

find some sweets that are either just foil wrapped or have an easily separated foil layer. foil with a coloured or patterned side makes for a prettier end product. smooth the foil by drawing between thumb and fore finger whilst applying gentle pressure.

use your learned fold pattern to produce a miniature item. due to the small scale I found it necessary to use tools a sewing needle for easing folds into position the edge of ca credit card to get straight creases and a match stick/tooth pick to open up layers.
