Mini Jet Engine

hi..I m Gourav ....
I have been searching a lot for plans to make a mini jet.....but not much help..
so here I m ....finding my own way....
I made a jet engine out of some scrap....it uses liquid petrol as fuel.....and it worked in the first try.....I'll try to explain every step with pics....so letz begin..

Making Fuel Tank..

I took the needle out of a syringe.
fixed it with a eye drop bottle by melting it...
then filled the bottle with petrol ...

Making the Compressor...

though I can't use a exhaust turbine which in turn drives the compressor.... I used an old USB computer vacuum cleaner...connected it with a pipe using a tape....used USB adapter for vac...now its ready

The Combustion Chamber

I used a reel from a sewing machine...
and a curtain bar holder ...holed a socket pin in it....
now I had to connect these stuff with a little hammering.....done

Exhaust Jet

this step is the easiest of all...
I cut a pipe and made cuts as shown in the figure..
then bent the cuts to make a jet shaped pipe...

Connecting Each Components

connect every component ....
and cover the jet with a cloth blanket( it goes terribly hot even in few seconds)

Fuel the Jet!!

so here is it....working
I have tried to capture it working..
as the fuel was manually pumped,it gave variable flame...sometimes huge flame and sometime vanishing flame...
but it gave mostly blue flame signifying proper burning....
owing to its small size,it produced a little thrust...
and producing the 'whoooosh ' sound...
I guess if I use propane instead of petrol...it wud produce better result...

not bad results for a first try I guess?
I hope you have enjoyed it as well as I did...and I wud heartily welcome your advice and questions....
