Paintball Air Cannon

paintball.jpg
a very high power paintball gun. can b pumped up to 100 psi safely. Be careful though it is very dangerous some how it managed to shoot a paintball through a bike helmet at 30 psi (not sure how that happened)

also i will give the instructions for a barrel that fits a paint grenade and shoots it 100-200 feet fairly accuratly but you have to use a tippman squadbuster take of the mesh then pull the pin out and make straight instead of bent and slide it down the barrel

a shorter barrel makes it more accurate becuase it is overly poweful with a long barrel and i will get video of it

Getting Materials

2 9-inch long 3-inch diameter schedule 40 pvc pipes
2 3-inch diameter schedule 40 pvc end caps
2 1 1/2 to 3/4-inch reducing bushings the 3/4-inch part threaded
2 metal 3/4-inch pipe nipples
1 3/4-inch ball valve (can get an electric sprinler valve to have an electric tigger)
1 1 1/2-male threaded adapter
1 1 1/2-female threaded adapter
1 1 1/2-inch to 1-inch reducing bushing
1 1-inch to 3/4-inch reducing bushing
1 3/4 inch pvc pipe (watever length you chose but longer makes it stonger to a point)
1 tubeless tire valve
1 thing of pvc cement
1 thing of pvc primer
1 roll of teflon tape
1 0-160 psi gauge (optional if your pump has a psi gauge your fine)
1 t connecter 3*3*1 1/2
Optional(for paint grenade launcher)
1 female 1 1/2-inch adapter
1 1 1/2-inch pve pipe(any length)

Building the Pressure Chamber

All of this is assuming you know how to glue pvc parts together

first cut the rubber off the bottom of the tubeless tire valve but leave it around the sides then take one of the end caps and drill a hole just about the same size as the tire valve with the bottom cut off a little smaller will work better then hammer it in then glue the endcap to one of the 9-inch pieces then glue the nine inch piece into the t connector nows when you wanna decide if you want to put a psi gauge on or not. if you do drill out a hole into the other end cap and thread it in
(if you cool it and it fits snuggly then when it heats up it will ave a very tight seal) then glue this endcap to the remainig 9-inch piece then attach it to the t connector(if you dont want the psi gauge just glue the parts together the same way just skip the drilling part) then take one of the 1 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch reducing bushing and glue that into the t connector

Attaching the Barrel and Valve

ok now you have to take one of the 3/4-inch pipe nipples and screw it into the reducer attached to the t connector then screw the 3/4 inch ball valve into the nipple. Then attach the other nipple to the other end of the 3/4-inch ball valve. then attach the remaining 3/4-inch to 1 1/2 adapter to the nipple. then the 1 1/2 male threaded adapter. Then attach the 1 1/2-inch female adapter to the male one. Then put a 1 1/2-inch to 1 inch reducing bushing. then put in the 1-inch to 3/4 inch reducing bushing. Lastly put the 3/4-inch barrel in that and your done.

Optional Paintball Grenade Barrel

just glue the 1 1/2 inch barrel to the 1 1/2 female threaded adpater.

Your Done

now all you need is a bike pump or an air compressor and both barrels just screw on and off so you can interchange them
and about the paintball barrel i haveonly come up with one problem and that is that the gun is so powerful that accuracy is kinda questionable now a shorter barrel would in theory help
