Skateboard Jewlery

Have an old skateboard deck that your not using? with a few minutes, basic tools and a skateboard deck you could create unique jewlery for free!

you'll need
a drill with a small drill bit
a belt sander or sandpaper
a jigsaw or hand saw
wood stain(optional)
clear gloss(optional )

cut the board into a 1 to 2 inch slice

cut shapes out of the strip of deck, be creative (I have found that triangles are the easiest)

next you will need to sand the shape down to whatever size/shape you would like

now is the hardest part, to drill the hole you need to go slowly so the shape does not break or split

you can stain the wood to make the grains really pop out,trust me it looks much better. You can also spray clear gloss over the stain for a shiny look. then just put a string through it and wear your necklace!
