Supplies
you will need:
1 fiberglass kite strut (recycled from a cheap wal-mart kite)
1piece of twine slightly shorter than the fiberglass rod
electrical tape
1 re-usable straw (those novelty straws will work if the inner diameter is less than the thickness of your skewers)
1 elastic band
scissors
1 bag of skewers

Tie String
use a reef knot (square knot) to tie the string to the rod and tape it tightly
Secure Stabilizer
using the elastic bind the straw to the elastic as shown
Use It
stick the skewer in the straw and draw back
